Right of Withdrawal, Return and Exchange Conditions

The BUYER has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 (fourteen) days from the date the contractual product purchased from www.borart.com.tr is delivered to the BUYER or to the person/address designated by the BUYER. In the event of withdrawal, round-trip shipping costs are borne by the BUYER.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the BUYER must notify Borart by sending an email to info@borart.com.tr within this period, and the product must be unused in accordance with the relevant provisions.

In order to exercise this right, it is mandatory to return the product together with:

  • A copy of the shipping delivery receipt showing that the product delivered to the BUYER or a third party has been sent back to www.borart.com.tr,
  • The original invoice sent to the BUYER, fully completed and including the order number.

Following receipt of these documents, the product price will be refunded to the BUYER within 10 (ten) days. Returns are not accepted after the 14th day. If the BUYER does not send the original invoice, VAT and any other legal liabilities cannot be refunded.

If the invoice of the product was issued to a legal entity with a commercial title rather than an individual, the return must be made together with a Return Invoice issued by the BUYER, calculated as “Product Unit Price + VAT”, excluding shipping costs. Returns without a properly issued Return Invoice will not be accepted.

The shipping cost of products returned due to the right of withdrawal is borne by the BUYER. If the product is defective, the return shipping cost belongs to the SELLER, provided that UPS cargo services are used.

The SELLER does not accept returns of products specified in Article 9 of the distance sales contract if their original box or packaging is damaged, if they have been used or tested, damaged due to user error, incomplete, or in a condition that prevents resale to another customer.

In addition, the BUYER cannot exercise the right of withdrawal for products that are manufactured in line with the BUYER’s special requests or personalized by modification or additions (Custom Orders).

Before a return is approved, the product is examined by our Returns Department. Products deemed problematic may be sent to the brand’s authorized service or supplier for testing when necessary, and the return decision is made based on the result of this evaluation.

After the return process is approved, the BUYER is informed of the status via email. Once approved, the product price is refunded to the bank of the BUYER’s credit card within the legal period of 10 (ten) days. Depending on the bank’s procedures, the refund may take approximately two to three weeks to appear on the credit card statement. This process varies by bank, and our company has no authority to intervene. The BUYER may obtain detailed information regarding delays directly from their bank.
Any remaining costs after the refund of the product price (such as transfer fees, bank commissions, and shipping costs) are borne by the BUYER.


Returns Other Than the Right of Withdrawal

The BUYER’s “Right of Withdrawal Without Stating a Reason” is valid only for products for which a return request is submitted within 14 (fourteen) days following the purchase. Returns are not accepted after this period.

If the BUYER believes that the product has a manufacturing defect, the product may be sent to us within 30 (thirty) days following the delivery date. In this case, a review process is initiated within the relevant departments of our company to determine whether the product can be accepted for return. No definitive timeframe can be given for the review process.
If the return is approved as a result of the review, the product price (excluding shipping costs) will be refunded to the BUYER’s credit card under the conditions stated above. If the issue is determined to be caused by user error, the product will be returned to the BUYER’s address with shipping costs payable by the BUYER.


Exchange Conditions

As products purchased from www.borart.com.tr are limited in stock and/or seasonal, exchanges are not available regardless of the nature of the product. However, the BUYER may return the product within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of delivery, provided that the conditions stated above are met.


Special Conditions

Since products purchased from www.borart.com.tr are limited in stock and/or seasonal, exchanges are not possible; however, the BUYER may return the product within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of delivery under the conditions specified above.

When the BUYER’s order arrives for delivery, the BUYER should open the package in the presence of the cargo officer and inspect the product. This is especially important if the package is crushed, torn, opened, or wet. If a problematic product is encountered, the BUYER must refuse delivery, have a report drawn up by the cargo officer, and ensure that the product is returned to us by the cargo company.

Returns are not accepted if the product has been damaged, used in any way, or if the original packaging has been damaged.

The BUYER is obliged to return the product in the condition in which it was received and is responsible for compensating any commercial loss resulting from use.

Products must be unopened, unused, untested, and compliant with hygiene conditions.

For a return to be accepted, any promotional gifts, all parts and accessories of the product, and the packaging must be returned complete, undamaged, and in their original condition. For periods exceeding 14 days after delivery, general procedures apply, and returns based on the right of withdrawal are not possible.

The BUYER acknowledges that returns are accepted only if the product is unopened, undamaged, unused, and untested, regardless of the product type.
